Leeds United Football Club has won the FA Cup only once, in the 1971-72 season. It was their first and only FA Cup win to date. Leeds United defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the final, with Allan Clarke scoring the winning goal in the second half. The team was managed by Don Revie, who had built a squad of talented players including Billy Bremner, Johnny Giles, Norman Hunter, and Jack Charlton. Leeds United reached the final again in 1973-74, but lost to Liverpool 3-0. Despite their comparatively low number of FA Cup wins, Leeds United has a history of success in English football, having won three First Division titles, one Second Division title, and a European Cup runners-up medal among other honours.
